I’m a serial entrepreneur and content marketer, with a love for writing, blogging, and practical content strategy. Last year, I was named top #33rd content marketer nationwide, and I self-published a book that became a category bestseller the week it was launched (So You Think You Can Write? The Definitive Guide to Successful Online Writing). I’ve also launched and host The Write Podcast, and Twitter Chat #ContentWritingChat. My day-to-day work includes running a content agency, Express Writers, that I started six years ago on nothing but a hope, dream, and $75. To date, my team of 40 and I have worked with over 5,000 clients, and have brought in over $4 million in total revenue.
I believe in content marketing because it works. However, that doesn’t come easy. I’ve hustled to become a content marketing expert, and I’ve learned by trial and error (and real client feedback) how to build a content strategy that works. I’ve been my own “advisory board,” “stakeholder,” “content strategist,” and even “writer” all in a day’s work.
